We think that having a standard web module does not give users the required flexibility to integrate CounterAct functionality properly into their web site. Rather than a standard one size fits all web module, we produce a number of database export/imports that your web designer can utilise as part of the design of your site.

The price book holds lots of potentially useful information such as dimensions, weight, waste packaging information, product comments/memos and product images.
Stock information required can include whether the product is stocked or ordered on request, lead times, pack sizes and minimum order quantities.
Customer information includes balance information, credit limit(s), stopped flag, contact details, telephone, fax, email address and signatories. But you could go much further with the amount of information made available for an account customer.
There is a product flag on the CounterAct price book which has 3 values - web-only, in-house only or both. This allows control over which products are put onto the web site.
In addition we have 3 user-definable codes on the price book - these are maintained in CounterAct but interpreted in your web software. Examples might be - can the product be sold nationally or locally or an indication of a delivery charging rate.
CounterAct will accept orders from the web site as .csv files (comma separated values) in a predetermined format for both ex-stock and direct supply.
There are two routes - one is an automatic load without any human intervention and one is a review process in sales and orders/directs that loads the order details onto the screen for someone to deal with.
There are facilities to analyse sales that originate from the web both at product and document level.
